Hello everyone,
So I was upgrading Dynamics AX 2012 R2 to CU7. While after successful installation of CU7, I ran the Software update checklist..
First compiled the application and then clicked on “Merge code automatically”. As soon as I click Ok on that, I got the following error.auto merge error
Error message:
Cannot create a record in Code Merge Run (SysMergeRun). ProjectName: Update_CUS_5_27_2014, 5/27/2014 08:35:46 am.
The SQL database has issued an error.
SQL error description: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘SYSMERGERUN’.
SQL statement: INSERT INTO SYSMERGERUN (ENDDATETIME,ENDDATETIMETZID,PROJECTNAME,STARTDATETIME,STARTDATETIMETZID,TOTALINITIALCONFLICTS,
TOTALREMAININGCONFLICTS,RECVERSION,PARTITION,RECID) VALUES (?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)
Resolution:
Synchronize the following tables:
SysMergeRun
SysMergeResult
Go again and click on “Merge code automatically” option.
